What Bachelorette Party Themes Fit You?

Every bachelorette party needs a theme to spice things up and make it unique and interesting for the group. Themes to consider before incorporating the rest of your plans to evolve around this core event are as follows...

Spartan/Roman theme:

Be dressed and themed as the ancient people of Greece. Wear togas (or in womens case, stola). Decorate with theme colours white, gold, red, purple. Have lots of candles, fruits and vines around gives it a real imperialistic setting. For the bachelorette you should find a leaf crown as politicians and kings wore on their head and to make her feel special. Hereīs how to make a toga fast and easy in 10 seconds.

Egyptian theme:

This is probably the prettiest Cleopatra costume Iīve ever seen. This one is on top of my list when I want to do an egyptian theme party.

Law-maids, Police & Sheriff theme:

Dress up like a police woman of law enforcement. Wear your uniform proudly and elicit the respect you deserve as a cop. And if you just happen to have a little fun as a bi-product, who are we to judge ;)

I guess...if you want to be a sheriff, you got to dress the part. Plus size Sheriff costumes and the tough (and sometimes) sexy sheriff, always gets her perps.

Marine & Navy theme:

Some like it hot, some like it cold and some like it blue. Whatever your preference, you can always be sure that if you want it...you can have it :) This navy theme will get anyone to feel red white and blue all the way through the party. More navy costumes

Army theme:

...Or perhaps something of both worlds. A reversible Army & Navy suite And of course...how can you forget to wear those fancy army heels footware, that are a standard for any drill sergeant. Left...left...left, right left.

Reunion theme:

Show people who doubted you in the past that youīve blossomed and grown since the last time you saw them. Get a dress, something classy perhaps, and show yourself off. Donīt forget your name tag though.

Fluffy theme:

Dress up in your most comfortable clothes, like bathrobes or silk pajamas. Take all the pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, fluffy toys and place them in a little area on the floor. Wear your cozy sweaters and comfortable slippers. If you donīt have that many pillows and blankets or toys, ask your girlfriends to contribute when they come to your party. Get a lamp from your bed side table and place it in the middle of the spread out pillow zone to get that cozy atmosphere.

Animals theme:

Not to forget mother natures other creations, some of you gals might like this little unusual but fun and cozy theme party. Here are some cat theme items. And if you decide to really get into the role of animal party themes there are whiskers, cat noses, ears, tails and full body costumes. Or if youīre not looking for anything specific these little animal themes are for you. Id you donīt have time to shop around different outfit stores to look for animal dresses, this is the site for you...

Sports theme:

For all of you sports fanatics out there. Beer-hats, caps, foam fingers, mufflers and flags, this is definitely for you.

What is a match without a referee, sideline judges, a score keeper to make the match fair and of course, some football or soccer players.

If you get fed up with one ball, you can always switch to another. Baseball is playing on another channel, so feel free to zap your way to that match.

Special Holiday themes:

4th of July (independence day) theme:

Why not dress a little patriotic on your bachelorette and make it a day to remember. Here are some accessories aswell and an alternative to your already cool 4th of july costume.

Halloween/Horror theme:

Weather itīs a werewolf, zombie or a vampire, you will surely scare everybody in your path. Good accessories are hard to find, luckily bachelorette party heaven has a solution to this scary halloween theme problem.

Here are some plus size costumes for your party.

Christmas theme:

Santa Claus or santas little helpers? All can be arranged in the spirit of christmas. But wait? Where did the Mrs Santa go? Ah, here she is. And she has her best dress on. And donīt forget the elves and the angels said Mrs Santa. What a great party this is, everybody is invited, but donīt forget to shine, put your best christmas party dress on.

New years theme:

Mardi gras theme:

Valentineīs day theme:

St.Patrickīs day theme:

Easter theme:

Super hero (heroine) theme:

Wear your cape fearlessly and show those bad guys what you can do. All girls kick ass! Dress up as the power puff girls, catwoman, batgirl/bat woman, Electra or any other female super hero character. Make your own Lara Croft-Tomb raider costume, buy the accessories or the whole outfit if you donīt have the time to waste.

Hollywood theme:

All things relevant to the classic hollywood themes and beyond.

Sci-fi theme:

Whoīs your favorite Sci-fi character? Whomever or whatever it is, you can always find some good replicas at this sci-fi store and the official site of Gene Roddenberry, with authentic Star trek, Andromeda and Earth final conflict replicas here for starters. Custom starwars light sabers at this website or these cheap high quality costumes, some for under $50. Or for all you UK residents, the US costume equivalent of starwars, no need to buy it in the states when you have it domestically.

Pirate themes:

Step 1 to becoming a feared pirate of the black sea:

Have the right outfit that gives you the respect you deserve, and have the right attitude. The clothes can make or brake your pirate career. First impressions count, so no pansy cute little pirate dress. Remember...we want to instill fear and respect, not laughter.

Step 2: Command the respect and loyalty of your crew, especially your shoulder-parrot (very important not to have the parrot mock you or undermine your orders). Motivate your crew to make them work hard and let them play hard when youīre happy with their job.

Step 3: Never let an opportunity pass you by. The world is your oyster (unless youīre a vegetarian, in that case, your lettuce).

Step 4: Have the right tools and plan your battle strategies in great detail to get the upper hand over all your opponents.

Step 5: No conquest of any kind can be successful without your first mate as backup coordinating your battlefield plan.

Renaissance theme:

Aaaahhh, the renaissance, what a great vintage year 1436 was. I remember it well, it was the time I sat under a tree and wrote poetry. I remember thinking of how to declare my love for Carmen by making a sculpture of her and take a personal interest in going to social gatherings with her to mingle, for that made her happy. I wondered over what to wear to the party that evening and finding something to match with her dress. Those were the times...

Fairy tail themes:

Fairy theme:

Once upon a time there was a little fairy who lived happily in the woods, until one day she wanted to spread her wings and fly away to another place. She wanted to explore other magical new places, things and playmates. So she took her little wand, shoes and makeup and flew away.
