How To Hold Your Tableware Budget And Still Have a Quality Look
There are a few ways to pick out your tableware without it looking tacky on the dinner table. Choosing a tableware kit suited for your theme should be decided with a few things in mind. 1) How many guests are coming for the dinner party: Upon that fact, you can decide if you're going for the small or big dinnerware kit or this dinnerware kit, when you order your bachelorette party supplies. 2) The location of the bachelorette party dinner: Is it going to be "schleppin" back and forth between the house and the local where the party is at, or is it going to be at your house? If it's at your house, you can order a set of quality plates, cutlery (or flatware as it's so conveniently called), wine glasses and other dinnerware of greater quality instead. Or...take out your own. 3) Budget: How much are you willing to spend on the bachelorette party dinner...really? This is of pivotal importance as your dinnerware will reflect the overall look and feel of your party table decorations. 4) Food: What kind of food are you planning on serving? If it's a dish like steak, or duck...well...then plastic cups simply don't reflect your look and feel. 5) The Secret! You can still get away with average looking tableware as long as you follow three secret rules that makes it all better looking... The three little sneaky secrets are your table cloth, your glasses and your centerpiece! If you have a high quality table cloth, a centerpiece and glasses, will make your overall table look acceptable. So spare all expenses on the rest, as long as you follow these three simple rules. Having a colorful centerpiece helps to distract the guests and makes your table come alive. But note that the piece should not be taller than the shortest person at the table. Since having eye-contact with each other is why one sits down and eats in the first place :) Preferably decide on a centerpiece that makes each persons smile visible as well. A few bouquets, if you're more than a selected few. Sometime it's enough with the basic dinner ware, but if you really want to add some extra bachelorette spice to the table, there should be at least some basic party supplies laying around the table to reflect that, it's in fact, a bachelorette party. Depending on your choice of atmosphere, candles in candlestick holders might be a good idea to place in the middle, if it's a more classy dinner, or the 4 hour round small candle. A simpler idea is to have a cozy fondue in a cast iron cauldron with your closest friends and a main dish after that. Now that you've chosen your tableware strategy, it's time to actually go and order the supplies.
After all this planning seting it up, don't forget to send the crutial bachelorette party invitation to all your guests.
